Red Meat & Thin Beer

You can’t tell that man
lives on red meat
and thin beer
lies around all day
looking through
a narrow window
at the idiots
who are not
up to par
and need
a stern talking to.

He’s been around,
that is,
before the axe fell,
and between sips,
will present data
key to the salvation
of the world.
