Slow Down happened when I was working on a large radio piece (Jerusalem-Rome- Kushadasi) based on recordings made with my parents. After some manipulations I got this glorious sound file that did not have a place in that piece but rather wanted to be a piece of its own. After some editing and additional work it turned into Slow Down. It was awarded an honorary mention in the International Electroacoustic Music Competition "MUSICA NOVA '99".
