U Garáží (2023) was filmed on mid-April 2023 in Prague near Gasworks Studio across from the noble Holeševice fire station. The title translates to something like "near the garage" and is the name of the street where filmed. The work concentrates on 1 meter square perimeter surrounding a gas pipe cover on the sidewalk that had once been ornamented with green spray paint. This is the third of three videos made in the Spring of 2023 (Danger Alley and Banana Telegraph) in Holeševice, Prague. The sounds here are recorded improvisations of two pieces of galvanized heating tubes manipulated by the composer at Studio FMEra in Watertown, Wisconsin, USA in 2022.	U Garáží   was improvised using a handheld camera with scenes shot in the order presented in the film. The camera movement is purposeful and reflects the spontanaity of the improvised sound. The work is without intended meaning even if it projects, say, the sounds coming from a near by panel-beater's shop. DS 040323 * Listen with headphones.	Dan Senn (Prague-Watertown) is an intermedia/fluxus artist working in music composition and production, kinetic sound sculpture, experimental and documentary film. He has been a professor of music and art in the United States and Australia and travels internationally as a lecturer, performer and installation artist. He lives in Prague where he directs the Echofluxx festivals, and Watertown, Wisconsin, the USA, with his partner-collaborator, Caroline Senn. Dan's work moves freely between expressive extremes and languages depending upon the aesthetic joust at hand.
