Lillian (2010) was written for the American educator and conductor Dr. Robert Wessler and the 
Haitian Boys Choir, Le Petits Chanteur of Port au Prince. It was completed and delivered via email 
on January 12, 2010, to Dr. Wessler, the day of the catastrophic Haitian earthquake. It was 
then premiered, with the fallen Cathedral in the distance, on August 1st, 2010. Here is the 
Sibelius notation performance where stacatto notes are used to achieve an approximation
of the articulation the piece requires and not necessarily a precise directive.
